Mr. Jackie L. Harp, 71, of Hagerstown, passed away at his home on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011.
Born in Hagerstown on Feb. 1, 1940, he was the son of the late Edward and Rosezella May (Chapman) Harp.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mary C. (Smith) Harp; two daughters, Barbara J. Snyder and Susan A. Reed; two sons, Jackie L. Harp Jr. and Wayne A. Harp; a sister, Dorothy J. Dundus; a brother, Edward Harp Jr.; grandchildren, Kari and Steven Kirby, Jacquelyn Ernde, Sean Baumgardner, Heather Spade, Christopher Caton and Dezirae Ferrell; and great-grandchildren, Kamryn and Blake Ernde, Tylar Murphy, Serenity and Spohia Kirby, Deegan Spade and Haiden Caton.
The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown, Md.
Graveside services will be conducted at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
