Jacqueline Elizabeth LaPine, 88, of Hagerstown, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at her home surrounded by loving family.
Born on April 1, 1933 in Mooers Forks, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leona (Vancour) and Robert Bassford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Henry Neil LaPine, and would have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on the day of her passing, and her sister, Joyce New.
Jacqueline worked as a caregiver, having cared for the sick and elderly.
She is survived by six children; Ricky LaPine of Myrtle Beach, SC; Bonnie Tinsley of Vanceboro, NC; Shannon Efantes of Summerville, SC; Shawn LaPine of Hagerstown; Robert LaPine of Clinton Corners, NY; and David LaPine of Wappingers Falls, NY; Sister Joan Bylow and husband Arthur; Brother Robert Bassford and wife Joyce; 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
