Jacqueline Marie Betts

Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Betts, 86, of Fayetteville, passed away, Monday, August 10, 2015 at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born February 18, 1929 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Daniel Webster and Katherine Marie (Smith) Kendall. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Edward Betts; two brothers, Henry Kendall, Sr. and Arthur Kendall.
In addition to being a mother and homemaker she was employed as a secretary at Ft. Meade and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hagerstown.
She is survived by two sons, Brent Betts (Lisa) of Ellicott City, Md. and Bobby Betts (Mary Jo) of Columbia, Md.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Burgess (Matthew) of Gloucester, Va., Justin and Amanda Betts of Ellicott City; two great grandchildren, Autumn and Justin Burgess; one sister, Erma Pethel of Parkersburg, W.Va.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 14, 2105 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with her nephew Henry Kendall, Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
