James Allen Ridgely, 53, of Hagerstown, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Julia Manor Health Care.
Born June 7, 1963 in Chambersburg, he was the son of James Ralph and Shirley Koons (Liams) Ridgely of Florida.
James was a 1980 graduate of Waynesboro High School. After graduation, he joined the Reserves.
He worked for Staples in Hagerstown and was a member of the LOO-Moose.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiance, Linda Gates; a daughter, Diana Stewart; a brother, David Ridgely of SC.; two sisters, Lori Funk and Tammy Williams of FL.; four grandchildren, Duncan, Kenneth, Kassandra, and Nikolas; and one great-grandson, Alexander.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Covenant Life Church, 1515 Dual Highway, Hagerstown, MD, with Rev. Brad Kefauver officiating.
Friends will be received one hour prior.
