James Linwood Barker

James Linwood Barker, 73, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Complete Care at Hagerstown Center.

Born on April 25, 1950, in Danville, Virginia, he was the son of the late Tolman Frank Barker of Washington, Virginia. He was of the Protestant faith and was a stranger to no one and a friend to all.

James is survived by the family and staff at Washington County Human Development Council.

Services will be officiated by Jay Seipler and held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 11am at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.

Friends will be received one hour prior at the funeral home for visitation.

Burial will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery.
