James Martin Wilson, Jr., 71, of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, formerly of Montgomery County, Maryland, passed away, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born March 4, 1942 in Olney, Maryland he was the son of the late James Martin Wilson, Sr. and Ruth Virginia (Howard) Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was a general contractor, owner and operator of Versatile Construction Corp., Montgomery County, Maryland.
He loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing and boating.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 1/2 years, Dolores Ann (Reynolds) Wilson; one son, James Edward Wilson and wife Wendy of Johnsville, Md.; two daughters, D. Elaine Sisk and husband Kenneth of Elkridge, Md. and Patricia Ann Wilson of St. Petersburg, Fla. and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with the Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-8 P.M.
