James W. Horton, Jr., 65, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, died on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Doey's House, in Hagerstown, MD.
Born May 15, 1954 in Ohio, he was the son of James Wesley Horton, Sr. and Rosalee (Pembrook) Horton.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He previously worked as a Park Guide for the State Park in Gettysburg and recently enjoyed working as a prep cook at the Plaza Restaurant.
He is survived by his companion of 35 years, Cheryl Kline; a brother, Michael Horton; several extended family members and friends.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742, to help with funeral expenses.
