Jeannette LaRue Smith

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, in Hagerstown, MD, beloved mother, Jeannette LaRue Smith, went home to the Lord.

Born on November 10, 1926 in Wolfsville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Toncilau and Olive (Pryor) Blickenstaff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, R. Stuart Blickenstaff (Joyce).

She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Funkstown, MD.

Jeannette is survived by her children; Stuart Smith, Stephanie Smith (Doug), Josette Sowers (Rod), and Trudy Baker (Harry); six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
