It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved brother, uncle, and friend.

Jeremy Scott Drury, 56, of NYC, NY, was confirmed deceased at his home on September 17, 2023.

Born November 3, 1966, in Washington County, MD, he was the son of the late Harvey J Drury and Thelma L (Drury) Gardner.

Jeremy loved to laugh and enjoyed making others laugh; he was quite the prankster.  His love of music, photography and the arts took him to NYC to live as a young man. His heart for people was often seen on display by serving in a NYC soup kitchen feeding the homeless during the holidays.

He is survived by sisters: Laura J Mazer (Ken) of Harpers Ferry, WV, and Maurica B Barnhart (David) of Hagerstown, MD; brothers: Jay L Drury (Kristie) of Hagerstown, MD, and Craig L Hickle of Florida. One aunt, Nieces: Billie Jo Beard, Jillian Drury, and Angelisa Blomquist-Hickle. Nephews: Tyler Mazer (Becca), Jarod Mazer (Cassidy), Christian Drury, and Christopher Hickle. Numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, lifelong friends and his beloved cat, Gogo.

Jeremy was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Jacob and Merle Drury, maternal grandparents Robert and Mary Gardner, parents Harvey J Drury and

Thelma L Gardner, sister Donna W Rogers and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown, MD, November 11, 2023, at 1 pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 2 pm.
