James "Jim" Willard Manford, Jr., 64, of Hagerstown, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at his home.

Born June 30, 1954 in Hagerstown, he was the loving son of Alice Arlene (McCarney) Manford of Hagerstown and the late James W. Manford, Sr., who recently passed away on October 30, 2017.

Jim was a 1972 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He also attended a vocational masonry program.

Jim worked for B P Lesky Distributing Co. for 33 years. He was set to retire next year.

He was a member of Higher Ground Ministry; Williamsport Red Men Lodge 84; Waynesboro Moose Lodge 1191, AmVets Post No. 10; and he recently joined the Goodwill Athletic Club.

Jim loved riding motorcycles in his younger days. He also enjoyed camping with his wife, family and close friends.

In addition to his mother, Alice, he is also survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Charlotte L. (Seacrist) Manford; a daughter, Michelle Jones and husband Marvin; two stepsons, Gerald K. Cole and wife Norma Jean, Scott A. Cole and significant other Angela; a sister, Adra E. Lapole and husband James; two brothers, Lewis E. Manford and wife Sherry, Leslie "Casper" Manford and wife Wendy; five grandchildren, Tonie Jones, Marvin Jones, Jr., Amber Jones, Alex Jones, and Terry Jones; three step grandchildren, Seth Cole, Alyssa Burton, and Ethan Burton; two great-grandchildren, Rylan and Rylie Feigley; a niece, Sandy Tedrick; a sister-in-law, Shirley Myers; and numerous extended family and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastors Tom Stottlemyer and Judy Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday at the funeral home and again following the burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's honor to Higher Ground Ministry, 764 Spruce St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
