Jo Ann Kathleen Keller

Jo Ann Kathleen Keller, 87, of Hagerstown, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Doey's House.

Born November 29, 1934, in Sharpsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Mabel Koontz.

She was a graduate of Boonsboro High School.

She was previously employed and retired from Western Maryland Hospital.

Jo Ann enjoyed spending her time making beautiful floral arrangements and working on crafts. She also greatly enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Robin Nye and husband Stephen; one stepson, Kim Keller and wife Rachel; grandchildren, Stacey White, Lorah Brooks, Daniel Nye, Ashley Gorombol, and Bryce Keller; great-grandchildren, Courtney Samson, Morgan White, Derek Nye, Reese Nye, and Sophia Gorombol, Sydney Gorombol; great-great grandchild, Calder Samson; one sister, Shirley Phillips; three nieces, Trish McNamee, Pam Koontz, and Lori Williams who was like a daughter to her; and many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Peters; husband John Keller; brother Bobby Koontz; one great-granddaughter, Hayden Brooks; and nephew, Chuck Koontz.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 11:00 A.M., at Rest Haven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jo Ann's memory may be made to Doey's House, 11370 Caring Pathway Lane, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
