John Wilson Leggett III

John Wilson Leggett III ,83, passed away at his home on Friday, January 5, 2024. He was born January 21. 1940 in Waynesboro, Virginia to the late John and Carolyn (Hill) Leggett.

John served in the West Virginia Air National Guard and was a Past Master of Friendship Lodge No.84. He was also a graduate of Shepherd College and a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church.

Until retirement, John worked faithfully for the City of Hagerstown.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judy Leggett; daughter, Lori Zeger; grandsons Zach, Kevin, and Jesse Zeger; sister, Carrie George.

 Services will be private.
