Joyce Irene DeLoso

Joyce Irene (Gardner) DeLoso, 71, of Falling Waters, W.Va. passed away, Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Berkeley Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born August 28, 1950 in Hagerstown, Md. she was the daughter of the late, James Harvey and Hazel Elizabeth (Reeder) Gardner. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by one son, Thomas A. DeLoso, Jr.; one sister, Patricia Sue "Tatie" Delosier and one brother, Ronald "Baldy" Gardner.

Mrs. DeLoso retired as a wheel dresser for Transwheel Corp., Williamsport and previously had worked for Weis Food Market, Martinsburg and Beachley Furniture Store, Hagerstown.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Thomas A. DeLoso, Sr.; two children, Debra K. Peterson and Derick W. DeLoso; two sisters, Betty Jane Reeder and Elsie DeLoso; three grandchildren, Cierra Mason, Derick DeLoso and Devin DeLoso; two great grandchildren, Brandon and Riley Mason.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. The family requests that everyone dress informal and everyone in attendance, please wear a mask.

Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 5-7 P.M.
