Kathy Ann Butts

Kathy Ann Butts departed this world on Tuesday, November 15^th, 2022 at her home in Hagerstown, Maryland at age 62.

Kathy was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on April 11, 1960 to Thomas Younkin and Nancy Janes. She had one sister and one brother. 

Kathy had four children, Kristina Brunner, Thomas Rhodes, Dawn Rebbert, and Debbie Brooks. She met her husband, Donald Lee Butts, in November of 1978, they were married on July 15^th, 1983. She was a devoted wife; her last words were to Donnie, telling him she loved him.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandmother, son Thomas, mother-in-law Daisy Butts, and her brother Joe.

In her leisure time, she tended to her flower garden, paying special care and devotion to her roses. She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds and squirrels in her yard. She was most proud of her grandchildren and great-granddaughters. She was a kind woman who enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years Donald Butts, her daughters Kristina, Dawn, and Debbie, along with her grandchildren William Butts Jr, Karissa Guillaume, Destiny Brunner, and her three sweet great-granddaughters Sadie, Avalynn, and Ariella.

Family and friends are welcome to attend her viewing at Rest Haven Funeral home on Wednesday, November 23^rd at 10:00 a.m., the funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m.
