Kenneth Earl Neal, 58, of San Francisco, Calif., formerly of Hagerstown, Md., died Saturday, March 10, 2012, in Maryland.
Born June 9, 1953, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Ruth Marie (Lambert) Neal of Hagerstown and the late Henry Bascum Neal.
Kenneth was a 1971 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
He was an established pressman and printer who formerly owned his own business in California, called Mission Creek Printing.
He will be remembered as a very loving and charitable man.
In addition to his mother, Kenneth is survived by a sister, Deborah Sayles and husband, Jerry, of Fairview, N.C.; a brother, Robert H. Neal of Hagerstown; an aunt, Alice Neal of Hagerstown; a cousin, Gaye Lynn Benton of San Antonio, Texas; his favorite niece, Hannah Sayles of Fairview; his faithful dog, Hershey; numerous family members in Tennessee; and a multitude of friends all over the world.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Richard Jewell officiating.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, and again afterward.
Inurnment will be held at a later date in San Francisco.
