Kristin Lynn DeVault

Kristin Lynn DeVault was born on October 19, 1952, at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown. The first-born child of Nancy Jane and Ray Edward (Bill) DeVault.

Kris loved swimming, going to the beach, crossword puzzles, horse racing and old movies. Kris attended South Hagerstown High School from 1966-1970. She was a member of the South Hagerstown High School cheerleaders. Kris earned her associate degree at Hagerstown Junior College. She worked for the Washington County Government in the Permits and Inspections Department until her retirement.

Kris passed away on January 17, 2025. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy J.DeVault and her father Ray E. DeVault.

 She is survived by her brother Dirk and wife Nancy Loper DeVault of Hagerstown, MD and brother, Doug DeVault of Burke, Virginia. Kris’ nieces and nephews include Erik DeVault of Hagerstown, MD., Kari DeVault of La Mesa, CA., Jessica DeVault of Fairfax, VA., and Casey DeVault of Burke, VA.

 A private service will be held by the family.
