Lewis "Louie" Franklin Carbaugh, 56, of Falling Waters, W.Va., passed away Monday, April 12, 2010, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
Born March 23, 1954, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Elwood Maynard Sr. and Anna Mae (Murray) Carbaugh.
He worked for more than 29 years at Garden State Tannery in Williamsport.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tina M. Carbaugh, and son, David Carbaugh, both of Hagerstown; six sisters, Patricia Willard and Evelyn Lipko, both of Hagerstown, Donna Hock of Chambersburg, Pa., and Grace Kimble, Thelma Carbaugh and Mary Socks, all of Williamsport; three brothers, Elwood Carbaugh Jr. of Hagerstown, Jerry Carbaugh of Chambersburg, Pa., and Terry Carbaugh of Williamsport; a granddaughter, Kaylie; and numerous nieces and nephews
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010, at Calvary Temple, 147 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, with Pastor Bobby V. Robinson officiating.
