Linda Carol (Shipley) Lafferty, 64, of Hagerstown, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at her home.
Born December 29, 1949 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ethel (Mathna) Shipley.
Linda previously worked as a CNA. She enjoyed gardening and yard work.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 26 years, Michael Alan Lafferty; three children, Daniel Kuczinski and wife Julia, David Hoskins and wife Dawn, Michael Kuczinski and fiance Stephanie; a sister, Carolyn Keesecker; four grandchildren, Tyler, Matthew, Jonathan, and Leah; her mother and father-in-law, Ken and Bernice Lafferty; three nephews, Bryan, Sean, and Jason; grand nieces, Holly, Elizabeth, and Lindsay; and her faithful dog, Abby.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ronald Miller, Elmer Shipley, Jr., and Timothy Shipley.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Pastor James Davies officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6-8pm at the funeral home on Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to Hospice of Washington County.
