Linda Joan Wilson

Linda Joan Wilson, a devoted mother, daughter, and sister, passed away on February 13, 2025, in Hagerstown, Maryland, at the age of 80. Born on September 22,1944, in Hagerstown, MD, she is the daughter of the late John Donald and Eris June (Day) Norvell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Harp (Wilson) and sister; Wanda Poffenberger.

 A 1962 graduate of South Hagerstown High School, Linda built a commendable career as a contract Specialist for the Army serving with dedication at both Fort Richie and Fort Detrick for many years. In addition to living in Hagerstown, she also resided in Dearborn, Michigan, and Riverside, California.

Linda is survived by her sister, Judith Ann Small, brother; John Donald Norvell Jr., a niece, many nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Thursday February 20, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue., Hagerstown, MD 21742
