Lois Doretta Walls

Lois Doretta Walls, 88, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Creekside Nursing Home, Hagerstown, surrounded by loving family.

Born on April 20, 1934 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Madeline Gluck.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Walls, Jr.; Son, Allen Walls; Brother, Rennes Gluck; Sister, Deborah Beard; and Grandson, Harold Smith, III.

Lois worked as a Nursing Assistant at Washington County Hospital for 40 years.

Lois was a longtime member of Hagerstown Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed reading Nora Roberts books, crocheting, feeding and watching birds, socializing, traveling to the beach and spending time with her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Grand-pups.

She is survived by her daughters; Wendy Mumma and her husband Lee, and Bonnie Bloom and her husband Reese; Grandchildren, Patrick Mumma and Angel Smith; Great Grandchildren, Kyle and Kylie; Nieces, Jessica Gower and Shelly Williams and Nephew, Rennes Gluck, Jr.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 2 PM at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.

Family will receive friends one hour prior.
