Lothar Rudolf Reimann

Lothar Rudolf Reimann, age 75, beloved husband of Ann, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 after a two-and-a-half-year battle with stage 4 cancer. He was born in Offenbach am Main, Hesse, Germany on March 28, 1947. Lothar migrated to the United States with his family in 1960 at the age of 13. Seven years later, at age 21, he accepted his naturalization certificate becoming an American citizen. He proudly chose to serve his adopted country by enlisting in the US Army during the Vietnam war. He is survived by his loving wife Ann Sulkie, three children; six grandchildren, two sisters and Ann's two daughters He was characterized by an indomitable sense of humor and a quick wit. He was a widely read history buff, a collector of Vietnam porcelain and American Indian Art. His professional career included a 45-year career in the electrical trade with a national electric company. He was a member of IBEW, Local 26. At his request he will be cremated. A private funeral Mass will be held in his honor at St. Ann's Catholic Church. He will be deeply missed by all of us. Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown is assisting the family with the arrangements.
