Hagerstown, MD Malloya K. "Buddy" Moore, Jr., 64, of Hagerstown, passed away, Friday, November 1, 2013 at his home.
Born January 19, 1949 in Greenville County, South Carolina he was the son of the late Malloya K. Moore, Sr. and Myrtle Marie (Carter) Moore.
Buddy had worked as a sheet metal mechanic in Hagerstown.
He is survived by three siblings, Betty Hendrix and husband Wendell of Lexington, SC, Rose Zeigler of Hagerstown and David C. Moore and wife Ruth of Hancock; six nieces, Tina Jeffcoat of Gaston, SC, Shana Oxx of Clear Lake, Ca., Hedi Hamilton of Hagerstown, Bethany Oxx of Hagerstown, Penny Porter of Lexington, SC and Melissa Procter of Jacksonville, Fla.; one nephew, Wendell Hendrix, Jr. of Lexington, SC.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with his brother in law Bishop Wendell Hendrix officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
