Margaret Louise Stouffer

Margaret L Stouffer, 79, of Hagerstown, passed away, Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Reeders Memorial Home, Boonsboro.
Born January 28, 1935 in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late, George Marvin Goetz, Sr. and Margaret (Fitz) Goetz. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Stanley E. Stouffer.
Mrs. Stouffer retired with 35 years of service as a switchboard operator with the C&P Telephone Company, Hagerstown. She then worked for Antrim House Restaurant, McCrory's and 7-11 Convenience Stores.
She was a member of Long Meadow Church of the Brethren, Leitersburg Fire Company, Ladies Auxiliary, Morris Frock American Legion Post No. 42, Ladies Auxiliary and the C & P Pioneers.
Her hobbies included bowling and roller skating.
She is survived by two sons, Clinton L. Stouffer and wife Vickie and Randy E. Stouffer, all of Hagerstown; one brother, George M. "Sonny" Goetz, Jr. and wife Cindy of Greencastle ; one sister, Betsy Fisher of Greencastle; three grandchildren, Leigh, Kelly and Molly.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with the Rev. James Stauffer officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
