Margaret May Barrett

Margaret May Barrett, 83, of Falling Waters, W.Va., passed away, Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Berkeley Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born July 13, 1934 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, William Owen and Dorothy Margaret (Kinzer) Hendrickson. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Barrett, Sr.; a brother, William O. Hendrickson, Jr. and a sister, Linda Lindsay.

Mrs. Barrett had worked as a switch board operator for Washington County Hospital; later employed by Citicorp.

She attended the Church of God Universal and was an avid donator to the Truth for Youth School.

Mrs. Barrett is survived by sons, Bobby G. Barrett, Jr., Mitchell H. Barrett, Darrell O. Barrett, David L. Barrett, William C. Barrett and daughter, Darlene K. Barrett; siblings, Joann Norris, Robert Hendrickson, Karen Hendrickson, Gary Hendrickson, Jeannie Smith and Larry Hendrickson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home two hours prior to the time of service.
