Margaret Senora Anderson

Margaret Senora Anderson, 86, of Williamsport, passed away, Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Homewood of Williamsport.
Born June 16, 1933 in Williamsport, Md. she was the daughter of the late, Thomas C. and Eleanora (Bowman) McCubbin. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, William Layton Anderson and one sister, Barbara McCubbin.
Mrs. Anderson grew up attending St. John's Lutheran Church in Hagerstown and was a member of the B.P.O. Elks, Ladies Auxiliary and the Southside Bowling League, Hagerstown.
In addition to being a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker she had previously worked as a print runner for the Fairchild Corporation, Hagerstown.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by one son, William "Bill" Anderson; two daughters, Judy L.Ebersole and husband, Gene and Sally L. Taylor and husband, Stephen; one brother, Thomas McCubbin; seven grandchildren, Jessica Weitzel and husband, Corey, Adam Cline and wife, Liz, Stash Nicodemus and wife, Julie, Journey Nicodemus, Kirby Taylor, Sydney Taylor and Ian Anderson; four step grandchildren, Noel Ebersole and wife Michelle, Gretchen Ebersole, Megan Cobb and husband, John and Nathan Ebersole and thirteen great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 4-7 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Graveside services will be private and conducted at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's name to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave. Hagerstown, MD 21742 or to the Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Rd., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
