Born in Aurora, W.Va., Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Goldie Myers of Aurora; two brothers, David of Indian Head, Md., and Charles of Aurora; and two sisters, Velma Haydon of Clearwater, Fla., and Betty Knotts of Roanoke, Va.
Sally is survived by her husband, Charles, of 57 years; daughter, Patti and husband, Joe Meyer, of Waynesboro, Pa.; daughter, Brenda Beckman of Hagerstown; daughter, Pam and husband, Joe Kucharski, of Waterford, Va.; son, Charles Jr. â??Chipâ? and fiancée, Tara Lorshbaugh, of Mercersburg, Pa.; and two grandsons, Justin Wade of Hagerstown and Colton Beckman of Mercersburg.
Sally and her family traveled the world and lived in many places during her husbandâ??s 33-year Army career. During that time, she served as a Girl Scout leader and volunteered with various community organizations.
A private service for the family will be held at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown.
