Martha Marie Benner

Martha Marie Benner, 62, passed away on January 13, 2025, at Meritus Medical Center. Born on October 1, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Robert Benner and Catherine Long.

She was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Alice and Danny Kline, who were like second parents to her, as well as grandparents, Arthur and Rachel Flook.

Martha had many joys in life, some of those were reading books, shopping, and going out to eat with friends. She loved sharing videos and links with friends and family through Facebook, whether it be a recipe or a funny cat video.

Martha is survived by her sisters, Joanie Sanders, Dianna Benner Heur, and Rachel Shoop; brothers, Thomas Long, Robert Benner, Jr., and Steven Benner; nephews, who were like her sons, Jeremiah and Joshua Sanders; grandnieces and nephews, Dominic, Charlee, and Cailin.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 12:00 with a viewing two hours prior at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
