Mary N. Franklin

Mary Nelda Franklin, 86, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Saturday, May 20, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at Hagerstown Health Care.

Born February 14, 1937 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Lloyd A. and Carrie Edith (Bowers) Davis. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband in June of 1968, David Curtis Hill; a son, Curtis Hill; two grandsons, six sisters, and six brothers.

Mrs. Franklin was a graduate of Hagerstown High School. She retired from American Moulding where she had worked as a leafer and also retired from Martins Food Stores where she was an associate in the deli.

Her two hobbies were bowling and bingo.

Mrs. Franklin is survived by three daughters, Vicki Hutzell, Carrie Walters and husband, Darrell and Diane Allen and husband, Charlie; eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; one brother, Roger Davis and wife, Diane; daughter in law, Lori Moats and a son in law, David Butler.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, May 25th from 6-8 P.M.
