Mary Louise Moats, 54, of Hagerstown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Friday, October 3, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born October 11, 1959 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of Shirley A. (Statler) Black of Hagerstown and the late, Kenneth L. Black. In addition to her father, she also was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sarah Lynn Delauter and a sister, Nancy Jean Black.
Mary was a long time waitress at McCrory's at the Valley Mall and later worked for AC&T, Ames and K-Mart.
She was a 1977 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
Mary attended Calvary Grace Brethren Church.
In addition to her mother she also is survived by, one son, Austin U. Black, at home; four sisters, Rose A. Black of Hagerstown, Barbara K. Kelley and husband Terry of Shippensburg, Pa. Bonnie S. Ridenour and husband John and Deborah L. Smith all of Hagerstown; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown with Pastor Jay Fretz officiating.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Grace Brethren Church, 115 Bryan Place, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
