Mary Lee Ann Black-Dumbuya, 75, of Hagerstown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 19, 2014.
Born October 18, 1939 in Frederick, Md. she was the daughter of the late Ralph G. and Mary E. (Pheobus) Black. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by a son, Wilbur G. Haupt; a brother, Kenneth L. Black; a sister, Olivia L. Black and a grandchild, Gwendolyn R. Myers.
Mary was a homemaker and a member of West End Baptist Chapel, where she was a sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. She enjoyed watching Orioles baseball Dolphins football and dancing.
She is survived by her husband, Mohamed Dumbuya; three children, Kenneth T. Haupt, Olivia L. Haupt and Edward L. Haupt; two sisters, LouEllen I. Stickel and Olive L. Dillon; five grandchildren, Eric S. Haupt Griffin, Calvin Myers III, Christopher W. Haupt, Mary E. Haupt and Joseph A. Haupt and six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Shane Wilt officiating.
Graveside services will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 7-9 P.M.
