Mary Margaret Shirley

Mary Margaret (Lark) Shirley, 65, of Hagerstown, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at her home.
Born January 1, 1954 in Hagerstown, she was daughter of the late Roy T. and Mary Catherine (Sager) Lark.
Mary was a 1971 graduate of Clear Spring High School.
She enjoyed gardening and watching her wildlife.
Mary is survived by her loving and devoted husband of almost 48 years, Donald Lee Shirley, who was also her high school sweetheart; two daughters, Tonya Harshman and April Shirley, both of Hagerstown; a brother, Charles Lark of Falling Waters, WV.; a sister, Ellen Weller and husband Blair of Big Pool; four grandchildren, Branden Fogle, Cortni Shirley and fianc Ryan Howard, Jakope Shirley and wife Alexiss, Joshua Harshman; three great-grandchildren, Carli and Olivia Howard, Aiden Shirley; dear friend, John Vinzant of Hermitage, PA.; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, William and Tom Lark.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Inurnment will be private and at the family's convenience.
