Mary Martha Ritondo

Mary Martha Ritondo 81, of Hagerstown, MD Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Meritus Medical center, Hagerstown, MD.

Born August 19, 1941, in Washington, D.C. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Adaline (Crivella) Clifton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister.

Her Faith led her life in collecting prayer cards and Rosaries which she prayed with every night.  She wore her miraculous medals every day and was passionate about the Blessed Mother, Saint Anthony and Saint Jude. She enjoyed reading suspense and mystery novels. She loved the Amish community and Perry Mason. In her early days she took pleasure in playing bingo with her mother, sister, and best friend, Faith.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Ritondo. Children, Tina Regan (David Reynolds Sr.), Carl Ritondo (Kathy Moberly). Grandchildren, Jessica Robinson (Scott), Jonathan Stahl (Jessica), James Regan Jr. (Lisa). Great-grandchildren, Nathan, Niall, Madison, Grady, Millee, Avery, Hayes, and Oliver. Best friends, Priss, Faith Wenk, and Tracy Kahan who she thought of like a daughter.

Friends and Family will be received on Tuesday, November 8th from 6-8  at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742 

A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated on November 9th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Church, 17630 Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21740, immediately following Mass with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery 600 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
