Michael Earl Lichtenberg, 57, of Hagerstown, passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at his home.
Born Feb. 13, 1953, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Earl Lichtenberg and Erma (Seal) Guessford.
He was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School.
He worked as a home-improvement contractor and formerly owned D&M Unlimited.
He was currently employed by Hoffman Transport in State Line, Pa.
He was past president of the American Little League; safety adviser for the District 1 Little League; and was a coach with the American and Valley Little Leagues.
Michael was a Redskins fan and loved to fish.
Michael is survived by his wife, Diane Lichtenberg; son, Michael Lichtenberg Jr. and wife, Kelli; daughter, Barbie Kennedy; son, Lucas Lichtenberg, all of Hagerstown; daughter, Millie Lichtenberg-Myers and husband, James, of Mercersburg, Pa., son, Jacob Lichtenberg; son, Matthew Wegman, both of Hagerstown; brother, Lewis Miller Jr. of Mount Airy, Md.; sister, Edith McIntire of Clear Spring; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Brandon, Jamie and Isabella; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Steven McCullough officiating.
Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
