"Sam" Millard Winston Allen

 "Sam" Millard Winston Allen, 83, of Hagerstown, Md., went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, September 11, 2024.Born February 26, 1941 in Oldtown, Md. he was the son of the late, Leroy Lionel and Daisy Isabelle (Crabtree) Allen. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by his loving wife of 26 years, Debra Ann (Belfore) Allen and by one sister, Shirley Mackereth.Mr. Allen was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School.He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of The Good Shepherd Ministries, Hagerstown. He enjoyed playing softball, loved the Baltimore Orioles, and watching his grandchildren play baseball.Mr. Allen was owner and operator of A & A Mart, Maugansville, Md.He is survived by two children, Brian Allen and wife, Pam of Smithsburg, Md., and Stephanie Allen and partner, Larry of Hagerstown; three grandchildren, Amanda Payne and husband, David, Noah Allen and Jayden Wiles; one brother, Leroy Allen of Maugansville.Mr. Allen donated his body to the Maryland Anatomy Board and graveside services will be conducted at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown at a later date.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Millard's name to The Good Shepherd Ministries, E J Fennell Building, 324 E.
