Nancy Lou Jenkins, 73, Martinsburg, W.V., passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Hospice of the Panhandle, Kearneysville, WV.
Nancy was born in Clear Spring, MD on August 15, 1943 to the late Luther P. and Blanche M. (Timmons) Bowman.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by one daughter, Geraldine Marie Fraley; one brother, Clint Bowman; four sisters, Lucil Fernandez, Mary Bowman, Dorthy Bussard and Cleon Harris; and two grandchildren, Brandon Jenkins and Ashley Jenkins.
Nancy was a member of the Boonsboro Church of God for 50 years and attended the New Beginnings Full Gospel Church of Martinsburg, WV. She was a loyal and faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ to his service. She was also member of many charitable organizations.
In addition to her loving husband of 30 years, James Jenkins, Nancy is survived by 8 sons, Daniel Fraley and wife Cricket of Rohersville, MD, David Fraley and wife Tammy of Hagerstown, MD, Eric Fraley and wife Joanne of Martinsburg, WV, Matthew Bowman of Martinsburg, WV, James M. Jenkins and wife Tereasa of Falling Waters, WV, Keith Jenkins and wife Christine of Hedgesville, WV, Jake Jenkins and wife Cheryl of Hedgesville, WV, and Jerry Jenkins of Fla; one daughter Agnes Fraley and husband Charlie of Martinsburg, WV; 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; one brother Albert "Sonny" Bowman of Greencastle, PA; and one sister Cora Mock of Hagerstown, MD. Once you got to know Nancy, she treated you like you were one of her own like an adoptive mother.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday May 10, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Inc., 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown, MD. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received from 6-8pm on Tuesday at Rest Haven Funeral Home Inc.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's name to the Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Ln, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
