Patricia Brown

Patricia Lee (Beggarly) Brown, 82, passed away on November 7, 2024. Patricia was born on October 29, 1942, in Hagerstown, Maryland to the late Mary Elizabeth (Grove) Manford and Grover Cleveland Beggarly.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Donald Brown, her daughter Vicky Mathna, a sister Barbara Jackson Japzon, and a brother Barry Beggarly. She is survived by her son David Hovermale (Maria), daughters Pamela Mathna and Carol Thompson (Buck); granddaughters Erin Hovermale, Amanda Hovermale, and Stacey Thompson; great-grandchildren Rylan, Elayna, Jalen, Brielle, Bryson, Purnell; and her siblings Steven Beggarly (Marquita), Shelley Messenger (Eric), Frank Spigler, Jodie Stouffer, Julie Rowe, and sister-in-law Paulette Beggarly.

She lived much of her life in Arlington, Virginia where she called home. She loved her beloved dog, Pixie, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She now is free to run with the wild horses she thought about often. She will be forever missed by those who loved and cared for her.

A visitation was held at Rest Haven Funeral Home on November 11, 2024.
