Our MOM, Patricia Lee Baker (Patti) departed this world into the arms of the Lord on February 5, 2016, at her daughter's home in Hagerstown, Maryland, with her husband and her daughters by her side.
She was born in Hagerstown, Maryland and resided in Conway, South Carolina for the past 38 years.
To all who knew her, Patti was a devoted wife and mother, a strong woman who believes in Family first, Respect always, Love completely and Laughter every day. She was always there with a helping hand to whoever needed comfort. Among those who mourn her passing, include Jackie Nasca, a special "daughter", and Nettie Crib a life-long friend, as well as numerous relatives and good friends.
She has left behind countless memories to cherish; this is her legacy to us all.
Patti was survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Norman W. Baker, her daughters , AngaLee Baker-Stover (Charles), Teresa M. Elder (Richard) 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Patti is preceded in death by her father, John E. Hunter, her mother, Anna L. Hunter and her youngest daughter, Patricia L. Newton.
There will a Celebration of Life at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave.,Hagerstown on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Chaplain Jeffrey Casto officiating.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
