Patricia Ann Pulieri

Patrica Ann Pulieri, 80, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away with her children by her side on Friday, August 9, 2024. Born in Easton, PA to the late Frank Pulieri and late Louise (Toth) Pulieri Haak, Pat grew up in Washington, NJ until her family relocated to Hagerstown with Mack Truck.

A 1962 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, Pat began her telecommunications career as an operator for C&P Telephone. She continued her career in various roles throughout the company’s evolution until her retirement from Verizon.

Over the years Pat was active in the community through the Boy and Girl Scouts and PTA. She is a past board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County and past board member of the Tri-State Singles Dance. Pat loved to dance and break out in song from her favorite musicals, sharing her passion for musical theater with her children. She was also an avid gardener, transforming her backyard into a wildlife habitat and owned a collection of silly gardening hats. Pat shared her love of animals with her children and always shared her home with dogs, cats, birds, and at one time even a pet skunk. Her favorite place was the ocean where she would walk the beach in the early morning looking for seashells while meditating on life. 

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Bethany Latham and son, Bret Latham and her dear friend, Joe Latham. Her siblings and their partners, Frank Pulieri (Tamia), Virginia “Ginny” White (Joe), and Richard Pulieri (Nancy) and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families. She was proceeded in death by her son, Scott Latham and her parents.

The family will receive friends at Rest Haven on Saturday, August 17 from 12 pm – 1 pm, followed by funeral services in the Rest Haven Chapel at 1 pm with the Rev. Mark Sandell officiating.
