Patsy Ann Sterling, 88, of Hagerstown, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at her home.
Born March 24, 1929, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Paul Joseph and Elsie May (Dayhoff) Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Conway "Flick" Sterling, who died in 1992; and two brothers, Robert and John Baker.
Patsy retired after 10 years of service as a driver for the Washington County Human Development Council.
She was a 50+ year member of Grace United Methodist Church; a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Funkstown American Legion Post No. 211; AARP; and the Hits and Misses Bowling League in Hagerstown.
Patsy is survived by her son, Raymond Earl Summers; three daughters, Jane Staley, Doris Ann Dawson, and Peggy Ann Dieter; two step-sons, Steven Sterling and Conway Sterling; six grandchildren, Jim, Steve, Denise, Doug, Seth, and Michelle; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11am on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor James Curtis King officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
