Paul Ralph "Ralphie" Mitchell, 73, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
Born February 6, 1942 at home in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Daniel Frederick Mitchell, Sr. and Marion Elizabeth (Kinzer) Mitchell.
He had been employed as projectionist at the Port Movie Theater and Hager Drive-In in Williamsport. He drove the delivery truck for Creasey Company and helped Williamsport's town doctor, Dr. Ralph Young, later retiring from the movie theater at Valley Mall in Hagerstown.
Ralphie loved listening and singing to music of the 50's and 60's, singing goofy songs, and his famous impersonations of Clint Eastwood movies. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He attended the Williamsport schools.
He is survived by his his two daughters, Elizabeth "Liz" Bright of Boonsboro and Gina Stascavage of Hagerstown; two brothers, Daniel Frederick Mitchell, Jr. and Orville Edward Mitchell, both of Hagerstown; one granddaughter and one grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters; Vivian "Betsy" Margretta Mitchell Lott and Alice LaRue Mitchell.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Interment will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
