Pauline Elizabeth Nelson

Pauline Elizabeth Nelson, aged 80, of Knoxville, Tenneessee and formerly of Smithsburg, Maryland passed away on Jan. 30, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. 

Pauline was born on Nov. 1, 1943 in Hagerstown, MD. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd David Hosfeld Sr and Virginia Elizabeth Hosfeld. 

Pauline was preceded in death by three brothers; Kenneth R. Hosfeld, George W. Hosfeld and Casper C. (Sonny) Hosfeld.

Pauline is survived by her two children; Granville D. (Butch) Nelson, Jr of Rockville, MD, and Robin E. Snider of Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by her brother Lloyd D. (Bud) Hosfeld Jr of Roanoke, VA, her sister Brenda L. Palmer of Smithsburg, MD, six grandchildren and a great grandchild on the way.

A private ceremony will be held at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742 on Feb. 24, 2024 at 11:00am.
