Perry Allen Davis, 84, of Hagerstown, passed away, Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg.
Born April 30, 1930 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late, Benjamin F. and Beulah G. (Ridenour) Davis. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by four sisters, Fern Davis, Pauline Mundorff, Mildred Raymer and Dorothy Saunders; four brothers, William, Benjamin, Robert and Gerald Davis.
Mr. Davis was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War and received the Korean Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 1936, Hagerstown and the American Legion Post 211, Funkstown.
Mr. Davis retired with 45 years of service from Advertising Inc., Hagerstown.
His hobbies included playing cards at the V.F.W., fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his loving companion of 28 years, Barbara St. Clair and her children, Sharon, Kathy, Rhonda and Jack; one son, Michael A. Davis and four grandsons.
Friends will be received on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown with the Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Maryland National Guard and the Joint Veterans Council of Washington County honor guards.
