Phebe Lorraine Snyder

Phebe Lorraine Snyder, 71, of Hagerstown, passed away, Monday, June 29, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Born July 15, 1943 in Mercersburg, PA she was the daughter of the late, Roy W. and Goldie M. (Thomas) Clever. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alton E. Snyder; three brothers, Richard, Vernon and Melvin Clever; one sister, Jane Brennan and a son in law, Thomas Moats. Mrs. Snyder was a homemaker and a member of the Needmore Full Gospel Church, Needmore, PA. She is survived by five children, Sonia K. Moats of Hagerstown, Gregory E. Snyder and wife, Julie A. of Williamsport, Timothy A. Snyder and wife, Karen Y. of Hagerstown ,Deborah M. Hardt and husband Lee of Brunswick, MD, Lisa R. Flanary and husband Earl of Hagerstown; four brothers, Gerald, Roy, Jr., David and Carl Clever; two sisters, Grace Crouse and Darlene Gress; sixteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Johnny Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 7-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Phebe's name to the Snyder family, C/O Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
