Phyllis Irene Burral-Lopez, formally of Hagerstown, was called home by Our Lord & Savior on November 10, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL.
Born October 16, 1947 in Mercersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Helen Gerhold-Burral Hose and the late George W. Burral and Thelma Embly-Burral Hoke.
Phyllis was a loving mother, "G", "GG", and grandmother! Her family was her Job, Hobby and Joy.
She was a member of AARP.
She is survived by two daughters, Vanetta L. (Thurber) Quintana and husband Isael of Smithsburg, Carmela R. Lopez of Jacksonville, Fl.; two sons, Lewis "Billy" W. Burral of Cumberland, Md., Samuel E. Thurber and wife Sandy of Jacksonville, Fl., seven sisters, Sherry Cordell of Mercersburg, Pa., Rhetha "Ann" Kidwiler of Shepherdstown, WV., Ella Quinn of Hagerstown, Lois Fraker of Three Springs, Pa., Darlene Adams , Arlene Davis, Thelma Burral-Banzhoff all of Hagerstown; four brothers, Lewis J. Hose III, Harry M. Hose Sr., both of Hagerstown, George W. Burral Jr. of Boonsboro, Md., David W. Burral of Smithsburg, Md.
She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, Seirra N. Burral, Brittiany N. (Fletcher) Lynch, Jessica N. Burral, Catora I. Burral, Jesse T. Carey, Lewis W. Burral Jr., Kyle W. Burral, Michael L. Burral, Summer-Rain J. (Quintana) Bussard, Star-Lena J. (Quintana) Estock, Elisa J. Quintana, Justice R. Thurber, Jenna L. Thurber, Joleyne E. Thurber, Tyler M. Kearns (step), Leo R. Goodson, Lorenzo X. Lopez; twenty great-grandchildren, Zacorro J. Bussard, Zoraelia J. Bussard, Zovany J. Bussard, Zayun J. Bussard, Sharrlytt G. Brown, Paulena I. Chlebowski, Victoria S. Mathews, Gabriella L. Mathews, Lydia J. Carey, William C. Glenn, Ayanna I. Burral, Grayson N. Burral, Thyri R. Burral, Paigreanna C. Snyder, Laileanna L. Snyder, Alianna J. Snyder, Nazir Q. Lacy, Kevin J. Lynch III, Hailey S. Lynch, Willow A. Lynch.
She also leaves behind six Godchildren, Angela "Angel" Cordell Dempsey of Chambersburg, Pa., Michelle Conway of Hagerstown, Jeremy Baylor of Parris, Ca., Kaumba Simmons, Felicia Clemmons both of Hagerstown, Jason Baylor of Hamilton, OH.; an aunt, Bea Gerhold Marquez of Chambersburg, Pa.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins by the dozens.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Joe White; a granddaughter, Irene C. Burral; two sisters, Janice Burral-Sellers, Alice Hose Devore; and numerous aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Rev. Paul Berry Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
