Ralph Leroy Ebersole

Ralph Leroy Ebersole Jr., 63, of Hagerstown, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born May 12, 1949, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Rachel Louise (Hoffman) Ebersole Draper of Hagerstown and the late Ralph Leroy Ebersole Sr.
Mr. Ebersole was a delivery representative for ThompsonGas of Boonsboro.
He was a member and president of the Upton Full Gospel Church, Greencastle, Pa., and also a member of the Williamson Ruritan Club, Williamson, Pa., and Clopper-Michael American Legion, Boonsboro.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Musselman) Ebersole; two daughters, Rochelle Cannon (Michael) of Las Cruces, N.M., and Karol Hess (Greg) of Hagerstown; four grandchildren, Craig Cannon, Andrew Smith, William Hess and Emily Hess, all of Hagerstown; two great-grandchildren; one stepson, Barron Keefer (Melissa) of Greencastle; stepdaughter, Gwen Keefer of Fort Loudon, Pa.; three sisters, Martha F. Ebersole Wilson (Joseph) of Hagerstown, Barbara A. Ebersole Sigler (Paul) and Loretta M. Ebersole Fowler (Dave), all of Maugansville; three stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Claudette Viola (Edwards) Ebersole.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Henry Barthalow, Pastor David Grove and Pastor Phyllis Martin officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
