Ray Kingston Coffman, 79, of Hagerstown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his home.
Born August 5, 1938 in Hancock, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Mildred M. (Hixon) Coffman.
Ray was a 1956 graduate of Hancock High School. He also graduated from Strayer College with a degree in accounting. He worked at Fairchild, Rohr and retired from First Data in 2010.
Ray was a veteran of the United States Army stationed in Korea and honorably discharged February 7, 1962.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Linda Louise (Weaver) Coffman; a daughter, Roxanne Coffman of Hagerstown; two brothers, Gary Coffman and wife Linda of Halfway, Richard Coffman and wife Diane of Chestertown, MD.; two brother-in-laws, Sheldon Weaver and wife Carolyn of Hagerstown, Herschell Weaver and wife Candace of Clayton, NC.; a sister-in-law, Peggy Coffman of Myersville; several nieces; nephews; and his faithful dog, Abby.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
