Raymond Francis McCabe

Raymond Francis McCabe, 85, of Hagerstown, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born on August 2, 1936 in Moscov, MD, he was the son of the late Raymond McCabe and Gladys (Fairgrieve) McCabe.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald McCabe.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hagerstown.
Raymond retired from Mack Truck with 39 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joann M. (Staup) McCabe; Daughter, Debbie McCabe of Hagerstown; Brother in Law, George Staup and wife Joann; special Nephew, George L. Staup and his children, Isabell and Charlie, and Niece Lisa Weaver (Bobby) and their Daughters Tiffany and Emily.
Graveside services will be held privately at Rest Haven Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation.
The family suggests the omission of flowers and would prefer memorial donations be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 224 W. Washington St. Hagerstown, MD 21740 or the Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Rd., Hagerstown, MD 21740, or to a charity of one's choice.
