Reba Kornegay Jeter

Reba Kornegay Jeter, age 94, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on July 10, 2024, at Coffman Nursing Home.

Born in East Point, LA, on September 1, 1929, she was the only daughter of the late Henry B. and Grace Pryor Little and the wife of the late Henry H. Jeter. 

Mrs. Jeter retired as a Senior Sales Manager with Home Interiors and Gifts, Inc., in Dallas TX. She attended the Church of God in Mercersburg, PA.

She is survived by stepdaughters, Geraldine Andrews Lewis, Point, TX, and Joyce Jones, Plano, TX; daughter-in-law, Hinda Jeter, Cedar Hill, TX; brother and sister-in-law, David and Chris Jeter; several nieces and nephews, grand, great-grand, and great-great grandchildren, plus a multitude of close friends throughout the country.

Mrs. Jeter was predeceased by husband, Henry H. Jeter, Hagerstown, MD; half-sister, Ada Graham, Wyoming; half-brother, Ben Little Arnold, El Paso, TX; very special daughters-in-law, Barbara Ann Jeter, Hagerstown, MD; and stepsons, Harold Dean Jeter of Dallas, TX, Jimmy Jeter, and Ronald H. Jeter, of Hagerstown, MD.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21722 with a receiving of friends one hour prior. Pastor Jeremy Foltz will be officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral at Rest Haven Cemetery.
