Rebecca Suzanne Wise

Rebecca Suzanne Wise, 64, of Hagerstown, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Hagerstown Healthcare.

Born on November 7, 1957 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Virginia Lee (Lapole) and John Edwards Massie.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Edward Wise, and two brothers, Monty Massie and Clint Massie.

Rebecca graduated from South Hagerstown High School, class of 1975.

She worked as a daycare provider for a number of years and enjoyed being with her Grandchildren, playing Bingo and picking on Chetty.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Chester Allen Wise; Three sons, Joshua Wise of Clear Spring, Jason Wise and Jacob Wise both of Fayetteville, PA; Sister, Jodi St. Clair; Brothers, Tim Massie and Johnny Massie; 8 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11 AM at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Chaplain Michael Seger officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Sunday, December 12 from 6-8 PM.
