Rello Sollenberger Land

Rello Sollenberger Land, 101, of Tucson, AZ, and formerly of Hagerstown, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016.
Born February 15, 1915 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Myers) Sollenberger.
Rello left the family farm to pursue nursing and became a 1939 graduate of Hagerstown Nursing School. She worked all over the country as a registered nurse and retired in the early 1960's.
Before moving to Arizona to be close to family, Rello was a dedicated member of Virginia Avenue Church of God. She played piano for services and taught the Sunday school.
She is survived by her son, David Richard Land and wife Jeanette; two grandsons, David Edward Land and wife Angie, John Thomas Land and wife Genevieve; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Edward Land, who died in 1982.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service in Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown.
